Its infinity allows all possible forms of representation and interpretation. There is no certainty. There is only an unlimited number of possibilities. Space travel gives birth to ideas, the most wonderful planets and spacecrafts, and transports us into the future — to a transhumanist era where mere brains are sufficient to command an entire fleet to other galaxies, or even farther, wherever thought alone can wander.
The theme of this Gjutars exhibition is, therefore, the homecoming of the Star Wanderer to Vantaa, beyond the wolf border. During my space travels, a variety of things have accumulated in the ship's study and library, which I have now assembled into a kind of nature morte, a three-dimensional installation showcasing the current achievements and findings of my journeys.
